HubSpot is constantly evolving, with major and minor updates daily to improve the platform. These innovations are based on valuable customer feedback and make your user experience even easier and better. Every month, Bright keeps you updated on the latest HubSpot updates. Here are the most important updates from March!

Update 1 (Featured): a new personal starting point in HubSpot

hubspot update hubspot home pageThe new HubSpot home page is your central hub to quickly navigate to relevant data and get straight to work on what really matters. This personalized home page helps you work more efficiently by neatly grouping your tasks, notifications and recommendations.

 

How do you use this smartly?

Especially if you work daily with multiple tools within HubSpot - such as emails, workflows, forms or reports - you'll need to constantly switch between locations. The HubSpot home page solves that with dynamic content, where the page adapts to your work. You immediately see where you left off, what things need your attention (such as approvals, comments or workflow errors) and what HubSpot recommends as your next step based on your behavior. So you lose less time searching or switching and get relevant, data-driven suggestions.

Update 2: Deploy campaign goals smarter

HubSpot introduces the Campaign Goals Tracker, a smart way to set, manage and report on goals for your campaigns. With this update, the separate properties and simple editing module have been replaced by one central place where you define your goals and can accurately track your progress.

Why is this important?

Previously, campaign goals were often disconnected from your reports, which made it difficult to properly measure the success of your campaign. With this update, you can now set concrete KPIs, for example, such as the number of new contacts or quote requests. By managing everything in one overview, it becomes easier to enter campaign goals and show what your campaigns deliver.

Update 3: Customize Deal Insights

With this new update, you can now control which deal statistics you see on the Deals page in HubSpot. Instead of working with a fixed set of numbers, easily customize the overview to what's important to your team or organization.


How do you deploy this smartly?

Until now, the Deals page only saw standard statistics, such as total deal amount or number of open deals. Convenient, but not always relevant for every organization. With this update, you choose which metrics you want to see - for example, average lead time, conversion rate or value per deal stage. This allows you to see at a glance the data that says the most for your process.

(Available for Sales Pro and Sales Enterprise)


Update 4: More flexibility with multiple permission sets per user

hubspot update permission setsWith this update, administrators can now assign multiple permission sets to a user. This makes it possible to easily combine different permissions without having to create new custom sets each time.

 


Why is this useful?

Previously, administrators had to create a separate permission set for each anomalous situation or manage individual permissions manually. This not only created a lot of extra work, but also increased the risk of errors. Especially with users who perform multiple roles - such as someone who performs both sales and marketing tasks - this was a challenge. Thanks to this update, you can now easily assign multiple existing permission sets to someone. This keeps management clear and allows users to get appropriate access based on their different roles within the team.

Update 5: More control over ticket properties in the new Forms Editor

The new forms editor in HubSpot now allows you to add ticket properties to your forms. You can use both standard and custom ticket properties to gather exactly the information needed to create and manage tickets. You can also collect ticket data spread across multiple steps and use smart logic and redirects.

Why is this important?

Tickets are an important part of customer management in HubSpot. Until now, it was not possible to flexibly incorporate ticket properties into forms. Thanks to this update, you can now collect ticket information directly through your forms, controlling which fields become visible based on previous input. Think of showing specific questions depending on the selected topic, or redirecting the user to another page after filling out the form. This makes the entire ticketing process a lot more user-friendly and efficient.

Update 6: Automatically collect feedback with workflows

In the survey builder, you choose "Workflow" as the sending method and then have the survey sent automatically based on self-selected triggers - for example, after closing a ticket or completing a service.

 

Why is this important?

Previously, you had to come up with cumbersome solutions to easily send feedback surveys. Think of manually adding surveys to marketing emails. Not only was this error-prone, it was also only available to Marketing Hub Pro+ users. Thanks to this update, now you can collect feedback in a structured way even as a Service Hub Pro+ user, directly from your existing processes. By integrating surveys into workflows, you can collect customer feedback automatically at the times you choose, without extra steps or complications. This makes it a lot easier and more accessible to measure customer satisfaction.
