HubSpot is constantly evolving, with major and minor updates daily to improve the platform. These innovations are based on valuable customer feedback and make your user experience even easier and better. Every month, Bright will keep you updated on the latest HubSpot updates. Here are the most important updates from January!

Update 1: Automate your customer journey quickly and easily with 'Journey Automation'

HubSpot introduces 'Journey Automation Templates,' a new way to easily and quickly automate customer journeys. Instead of building separate workflows, you can now create a complete marketing experience in one view.

Choose from two templates: one based on Lifecycle Stages (from Subscriber to MQL) and one based on Journey Stages (from New Contact to Qualified Lead). This allows you to provide targeted nurturing and lead generation without losing leads.
Moreover, you get good insights into how customers move through the journey. HubSpot CRM Specialist Teun shows in a video how to use these new templates!

Update 2: 'Campaigns' available in HubSpot reports

HubSpot-update-primaire-data-source-campaigns-2HubSpot's Report Builder now has a new data source, namely 'Campaigns'. This gives you full control over campaign reports and dashboards. With this new functionality, you can easily measure the success of one or more campaigns and get answers to questions such as: how do contacts move through the lifecycle stages? How many contacts and companies were impacted per campaign?

Update 3: Contact lifecycle reports in campaigns

New contact lifecycle reports are now available on the performance page of each campaign. These provide insight into the number of influenced contacts per lifecycle stage, the cost per stage and the average cost per influenced contact. Thanks to these reports, you can make more informed decisions, adjust campaign strategies in time and get a clear picture of the effectiveness of your campaigns. Update 4: Legacy Lead Scoring disappears

On the 31st of August, HubSpot will discontinue the legacy Lead Score property. But don't worry - there are better alternatives available.

If you use Marketing Professional or Enterprise, you can start using the "Advanced Lead Scoring" tool. With this tool you apply smarter segmentation and get actionable insights. If you are using Service Hub Professional or Enterprise, you can build 'Health Scores' in the Customer Success Workspace. This helps to easily categorize and get better customer insights. Teun talks more about the capabilities of the new way of Lead Scoring in the video.

Important dates:
  • May 1: New score properties can no longer be created.
  • August 31: Existing scores stop updating and gradually disappear.

Update 5: Set up multiple email signatures

HubSpot-update-email-signatureAs a sales professional, you can now set up multiple email signatures. This makes it easy to match different signatures to different audiences, brands or languages, without having to manually switch them every time you send an email. With this update, sales professionals can communicate faster and more personally. Whether for different market segments, international prospects or multiple brands, it saves time and ensures a consistent, professional look and feel with every interaction.

Update 6: Summary & Analysis in Help Desk


HubSpot-update-analyze-tabThe Help Desk now has two valuable new tabs: Summary and Analysis.

The Summary tab provides an overview of key team statistics and recent updates from Help Desk tickets. That way, as a support manager, you know immediately what's important today.
In addition, the Analysis tab provides a complete picture of your support team's performance. Identify trends and make more informed decisions based on data.

With these new insights, support teams can work more efficiently, respond proactively and continuously improve their services.

Update 7: Create lists faster and easier

You no longer have to make all sorts of choices such as your list name, custom properties, or list type (active or static) immediately when creating a list in HubSpot.
